Indications
SelRx shampoo is particularly effective at treating symptoms that arise from the overproduction of skin cells such as psoriasis and dandruff. It can be used to treat scaly skin and skin cell buildups such as corns, calluses and warts on the hands or feet. Salicylic acid reduces swelling, calms inflammation and softens dry, scaly skin. When used in a treatment shampoo it soothes the scalp and helps loosen what will become dandruff flakes so that they can be removed while shampooing your hair as opposed to scattering themselves on your shoulders.
Composition
The active ingredient of SelRx Shampoo is Salicylic acid 2% USR SelRx Shampoo also contains Zinc Pyrithione USP, Sodium Laureath Sulfate, Betaine, Polyquaternium 10, Sodium Chloride, Color & Fragrance.
Dosage & Administration
Just remember to shake up the bottle well first so that the treatment ingredients are dispersed throughout the shampoo. Wet your hair, massage SelRx Shampoo gently on your hair & scalp and leave it for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing. Use as often as directed by your doctor. Once your condition has improved, your doctor may direct you to use this product only occasionally or to stop using it.
Use Salicylic Acid enriched SelRx Shampoo just thrice a week and finally experiance your freedom from Seborrhic Dermatitis.
If you are using a lotion or cream that contains Steroid, gradually reduce it’s usage and start SelRx Shampoo. If it gets into your eyes, wash them with cold water.
Side Effects
SelRx Shampoo with Salicylic Acid is usually well accepted & tolerated. As with other shampoos, a burning sensation, itching or skin irritations which is very rare, may occur on exposed areas. Seek medical attention right away if any of these Severe side effects occurs. Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); severe skin irritation.
Pregnancy & Lactation
SelRx Shampoo can be used during Pregnancy and Breast Feeding. If you face any complicacy or have query, please ask your physician.
Storage Conditions
It should be kept in a safe place where children cannot reach. Store at or below 30°celsius.
